Mossley Toddlers meet in a village hall to give children, babies and parents/carers a chance to get together in a relaxed, welcoming, safe environment with toys, play equipment, songs , cake and coffee. The weekly sessions are run by a handful of parent volunteers and everyone who comes along pulls together to make everything run smoothly. While the children play, parents are welcome to a coffee/ tea & biscuit (& hopefully time for a chat!)SESSIONS
We meet every Friday at 9:30.
Each session starts with time for relaxed play. The children have access to a wide range of toys and equipment including trikes, climbing frame, play house, inflatables, baby area, play dough, drawing, craft, trains, cars, dolls, and dressing up. At about 11am there is snack time, where the children all sit together and enjoy some fruit, bread sticks and a drink. The session winds down as parents and children all help to put away equipment and form a circle to sing nursery rhymes/ birthday songs and say goodbyes.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
Mossley Toddlers is run as a non-profit making charitable organisation. Sessions are £1.50 per parent & child, plus 50p per additional child. This covers rent of the hall and refeshments.
The group is run by volunteer parents. they take care of hall hire, toy purchase/ maintainance, fundraising and organising the Christmas party. As our children grow and move on to school, new committee members are needed. If you are interested in learning more about these roles, please do ask! If you prefer a more low-key involvement, here are the things which make our meetings possible each week:

Helping to prepare childrens’ snack

If you can help, either regularly or just sometimes, DON’T BE SHY!!! Put your name on the baking rota, come a bit earlier and help set up or grab a brush / tea-towel / apron and jump in!
